£85.00

Product Information

WATERMAN PHILEAS Fountain Pen

In rarer less common old style PURPLE MARBLE with gold plated trim. (May look blue in pictures but is actually purple.)

Waterman named the Phileas after the character Phileas Fogg in Around the World in Eighty Days by the French novelist Jules Verne. The design reflects the Art Deco look of the 1930s. The gold-plated ring around the barrel end resembles an engraved cigar band.

c1997 - Made in France - sprung pocket clip. Lovely practical chunky size measures 137mm (5 3/8") closed.

Two tone FINE nib in perfect condition. Nice smooth writer.

Cartridge filler - fitted with Waterman twist converter for bottle filling. This can be removed and Waterman cartridges used if you prefer.

Pen is in excellent condition.  Very lightest of normal surface usage marks.

The Phileas is now discontinued by Waterman but as with the Laureat, they are increasingly popular with collectors - particularly those who like to use their pens.
