Product Information

WATERMAN Le MAN 100 Fountain Pen     HARLEQUIN.

SOLD  10/2018

The fabulous Le Man 100 Harlequin and its sister pen the Opera were produced in France from 1987 until the end of the 1990s thought to be limited editions of 3,000 each. It is unclear precisely how many were produced but it seems that there were fewer Harlequins than Operas. Made in black resin, they were designed to resemble the Waterman hard rubber pens of the 1920s.

We have for sale here the Le Man 100 HARLEQUIN. Black resin with lovely pattern of raised sharp cut diamonds known technically as guilloche in rhombuses. Our pen dates to around 1990 when the Globe logo was included on the nib.

Gold plated trim - flat cap stud with Waterman 'W' logo - pen measures 145mm capped.

18ct solid gold two tone nib with Globe logo stamped 'Ideal Waterman 18k 750 Paris.' On back of section is stamped L35.

This is a BROAD nib in absolutely perfect condition. Has probably never been used.

Converter/cartridge filler.  Unused converter and 8 unused cartridges are supplied.

In original fitted box with card sleeve and with instructions, converter and cartridges together with original Watermans leather pouch.

Pen is MINT and UNINKED and as original. Just fabulous!
