PARKER VP Fountain Pen

BLACK barrel and section with gold filled cap. Double jewels - this model did not have a tassie at barrel end.

Made in USA c1962. Measures 138mm closed.  'VP' stamped on cap.

VP stands for Very Personal and the pen was made only for a short period between 1962 and 64, making it one of the rarer post war Parkers.

It featured an entirely new removable filling element. Also a nib unit which could be rotated to suit writing styles which was subsequently used on the Parker 75.

Unfortunately the filler unit was fragile and easily broken which makes the VP even rarer to find, complete and in working order.

This is an excellent example. It has the 14ct Gold number 66 nib which makes it a MEDIUM. Writes smoothly with good ink flow.

Pen is in very good condition - normal usage marks only. Ding-free cap and no personal engravings.

Correct in all respects and perfect working order. A very nice example, worthy of a place in any collection.
