In fabulous MOTTLED BURGUNDY and transparent celluloid. At first sight it appears to be mottled burgundy and black but hold it to the light and the black disappears and becomes transparent.


Rolled gold trim - twin narrow cap bands - twin tassies with black jewels.

FIRST GENERATION Vacumatic dating to 1938 and I believe this was known as the Junior model which was produced for four years from 1934.

This is the larger Junior model measuring 123mm capped (4 3/4") and a nice chunky shape. There was also a Slender Junior in production at the time.

Crisp barrel imprint  'Made in Canada PARKER VACUMATIC Pat No 318982 and REG T.M.S.' There is also number '8' date code for manufacture 1938.

Around the top of the pocket clip is the imprint REGc No 784404.'

Correct 14ct Gold nib with 'Arrow' decoration. Stamped '14k Parker Vacumatic Reg TM.

Vacumatic filler with the lockdown filler mechanism. Fills by way of the pump under the blind cap and utilises the barrel as an ink tank.

Fully serviced and in perfect working order. 


Pen is in absolutely excellent condition. Super gossy finish with the very lightest of usage marks. Looks almost 'as new.'

Very rare to find this model in this condition. Doubt whether there is a nicer one anywhere.
