Correct 14ct Gold nib stamped 'Mentmore Osmi iridium 14ct.'
Semi-flexible MEDIUM nib with a nice blob of iridium - writes very smoothly with nice wet line. Please see writing sample.
Button or Stud Filler - fully serviced - dismantled and ultrasonically cleaned, new sac, nib smoothed and tuned, hand polished and write tested - perfect working order.
Top class condition - no cracks, scratches and no personal engravings. Lightest of normal usage marks only.
Mentmore made some lovely button fill and lever fill pens in the 1930s in a wide range of colours and patterns.
This is a beautiful example. Still good for regular use and increasingly collectable.
