KENRICK & JEFFERSON 'MID SUPER' Fountain Pen

Kenrick & Jefferson were stationers based in West Bromwich and with showrooms in 10 other major cities in the 1910/20s.
The K&J 'SUPER' range of pens was made for them by Mabie Todd and Co.
c1922 - classic BLACK hard rubber. Lovely glossy finish with no discolouration.
Red Ripple insert in the top of the cap. Large size - measures 140mm (5 1/2") capped.
Fixed clip with K&J logo - plated bands to top and bottom of the cap.
Gold plated parts, cap bands, fixed clip and lever are in particularly good condition.
Imprints are easily readable - 'Kenrick & Jefferson Ld West Bromwich Made in England' and MID SUPER Pen with K&J logo on the barrel.
Cap imprint - 'MID-SUPER' with K&J logo. K&J logo is also on the fixed pocket clip.
Correct K&J 14ct Gold nib with the K&J logo. The nib is in perfect condition. Large firmish FINE nib. Writes smoothly.

Lever filler - fully serviced and restored - dismantled and ultrasonically cleaned - new sac - nib smoothed and tuned - pen hand polished and write tested - perfect working order.
No cracks or splits and no personal engravings. Light normal usage marks and no discolouration.
A lovely English early lever filler - full of character and very collectable.
Very soon be a 100 years old but still looks 'Super' - one of the nicest I have had.
