INGERSOLL Fountain Pen Lever Filler
SAGE GREEN MARBLE against a black background. Chrome plated trim.
No model number. Barrel imprint just says 'Ingersoll Made in England.' I would think late 1940s/early 1950s.
Measures approx 120mm capped - ballend pocket clip stamped Ingersoll and single narrow cap band.
Correct 14ct gold nib stamped 'Ingersoll 14ct Solid Gold.' BROADISH semi-flexible nib in good condition. Writes smoothly.
Fully serviced - new sac - write tested - perfect working order.
In very nice original condition - only slight blemish is some plating wear to the lever.
You don't see Ingersoll pens that often - think they were more famous for their watches. I have had one of their watches for nigh on 60 years and still wear it occasionally.
This is a really nice looking pen - a very collectable 1940s English lever filler.
