CONWAY STEWART 411  THE "EMPIRE" PEN

In solid BLACK with smooth finish. Gold plated trim - ball end pocket clip with CS logo - twin cap bands.

  

Made in England - 1930s - measures 130mm capped.

Barrel imprint 'THE EMPIRE PEN No 411.'

The EMPIRE branded pens were made by Conway Stewart exclusively for the Boy Scouts Association.

They were sold from the Association's HQ in Buckingham Palace Road London in the 1920/30s.

14ct Gold Conway Stewart nib.MEDIUM nib - writes smoothly.

Lever filler - fully serviced with new sac. Perfect working order.

The pen is in average used condition - surface usage marks and a little untidy around the lever.  No cracks or scratches. Bands good and tight.

Quite an unusual pen and a good addition to any Conway Stewart collection.
