Product Information

CONWAY STEWART 330 'SCRIBE' Fountain Pen.

Boots STATIONARY DEPT inscription

Chased BLACK hard rubber - bandless and clipless - round shield to nickel plated lever. Barrel end is threaded for cap posting. Measures 135mm capped.

In common with many hard rubber pens of the period there is discolouration/fading from the original black. No attempt has been made to restore the original colour - prefer to leave it as is.

This is an early model 330 dating to c1931/32 with the early imprint. 'Scribe No 330' on top line, 'Conway Stewart London' on second line and 'Made in England' around barrel end.

Other side of barrel is inscribed 'Boots' Stationary Dept. 'Boots' is rubbed and quite difficult to read.

Correct 14ct Gold Conway Stewart nib - BROAD nib - beautifully smooth writer.

Lever filler - fully serviced - new sac - write tested - perfect working order.

In addition to the discolouration mentioned above there are surface usage marks as might be expected with a pen 90 years old.

Quite a rare pen though and worthy of a place in any Conway Stewart collection - and still writes beautifully!
