CONWAY STEWART 12 SET  Fountain Pen & Propelling Pencil.

MINT & RARE. c1958.

In fabulous MARBLED BLUE with GOLDEN-BROWN veins. Gold plated trim.


Beautiful looking set - this colour scheme was used by Conway Stewart on some Dinkie 550/560 models but no other fountain pens.

FOUNTAIN PEN - this is the middle period pen with medium cap band and the longer pocket clip. There is reference to this pen on the above website but no picture.

Measures 130mm capped - diamond end long pocket clip with brass stud - single medium cap band.

Crisp barrel imprint 'Conway Stewart 12 Made in England.'

Correct 14ct Gold nib stamped 'Conway 14ct Gold 3N.' Semi-flex MEDIUM - very smooth writer.

Lever filler - the sac has been replaced (the original encrusted Conway Stewart sac was still in the barrel.) Nothing else needed doing. Perfect working order.

PROPELLING PENCIL - Correct and matching 'NIPPY' No 3 twist action propel/repel pencil.

In perfect working order and hardly used I think.

In red/green trellis double box which is in perfect unmarked condition. Original instructions and guarantee.

The set is in virtually mint 'as new' condition - hardly ever used I think and no blemishes whatsoever.

A really rare 12 set in this colour. Even rarer in this condition!
